Hello, Mongabay --
Thanks for this information about RSPO-certified palm oil.
I've been scrupulous about avoiding buying anything that lists palm oil in its ingredients, but now I'll consider buying products IF I check first with the makers, about the source of their palm oil.
A great example: little ginger candies called "GIN-GINS" which I used to buy and give away to my friends, until I read PALM OIL on their ingredients list. I gave up on them. They're a product of Indonesia.
However, I'm about to call the American distributor (Royal Products Foods, "The Ginger People" -- based in California -- 800 551-5284) and ask them about their palm oil source.
Your entire site is wonderful! I'm very glad to have found you (surfing).
