having spent a month in indonesia ( kalimantan / sumatra / papua ) it's extremely difficult to believe anything from a govt so entrenched in corruption. emissions are the least of their problems. The bulk of the population simply does not care/is uninterested in the plight of the environment/wildlife. lack of/poor infrastructure on parts of all of the above islands , poor education , unemployment, corruption compounded by an exploding population only make the govt rhetoric that much more farcical. Truly a travesty seeing such a treasure trove of life vanishing.
