If you are interested in mangroves, deforestation, carbon capture, environment preservation, you MUST check out what Eden Reforestation Projects (edenprojects.org) is doing.

They currently teach and give jobs to hundreds of Madagascar nationals who are successfully planting hundreds of thousands of mangroves every month! The even more amazing thing is...it only costs 10 CENTS!
Of all the studies and efforts, this is probably the most successful and practical one to support! Just think, 10 bucks/month plants 100 mangroves, or 100 dollars plants 1000! Contrast that to the millions of dollars and years of time being spent to do more studies. We don't need any more studies, we need practical action.
