Excellent article and interview. Another example of one of the beautiful mysteries clinging to existence in the Annamites. I wouldn't be surprised if there were a few living in Virachey National Park, which is still part of the Annamite Mountains. Going to print a photo and show it to the villagers there when I return next year.
What a fasinating animal. Hard to believe their exact number is in question. We really need to work hard to preserve the species we have left.
