All over the world there seems to be something of a corporate take-over happening.. In the US where I live the Supreme Court seems all too willing to decide Presidential elections in favor of corporate interests if not by influencing vote counting directly then by authorizing corporations to use unlimited funds to influence elections. Internet rights are up for grabs and it seems like oil companies can drill and inject who knows what about anywhere the want.. On the island of New Guinea great wealth is extracted by large companies and forests are cut down and converted to agribusiness with little thought for the people who live there except to get them out of the way.. On the African and South American Continents China has been busy buying up mineral rights and setting up large scale agribusiness.. The Seas and the creatures that live there have very little protection from factory ships or pollution. The air, the water and all we take for granted may someday be a thing of dreams; a pain of regret because we chose to ignore taking action while we could.
