Internet freedom and the ability of people to communicate with each other enables people to learn stuff and seek out ways to protect the Earth and the living things that depend on it. Thought and good ideas often spring to the surface like trees taking root in a forest when writing or learning about the world but that too is increasingly under treat of becoming a fragmented environment like many of the forests of today. With patenting of genetic code and the cold hard facts of corporate concentration on profit it's like people are intent on ownership rights to every realm of the natural world. I want there to be time for long term studies and incremental changes for the better but I fear without noble thought taking root in the hearts of people and governments around the world along with earnest thoughts for the future that forests of all sorts could fall.
