A general map to the region & locations might be helpful with the report?

I have a specific, while also general question related to 'borders' in Africa and how it may relate to sustainable conservation initiatives.
I've been wondering about the cultural appropriateness & more the possible lack thereof of African 'countries' having in many cases retained 'border' delineations held over from European colonialism. I mean, we are well aware of conflicts, often arising from tribe's interests, as a kind of endemic nepotism, recurring all too regularly as a result of democratic elections taking place within these countries & I personally have been beginning to wonder'~strongly' whether it can be more appropriate that these European colonial holdover borders be eliminated & that each traditional indigenous nation/tribe be accorded their own traditional territory to govern for themselves??
... and what this could mean for sustainable ecological management practices??
