I'm stunned.
I spent five days in Mulu National Park in July. It's a wondrous place brimming with spectacular sights and incredible wildlife.
In 2005 I sailed along the Yangtze and saw the aftereffects of the Three Gorges Project. Environmental carnage!
It breaks my heart to think the same could happen on Borneo.
It's incredible that such greed and stupidity can run rampant in a world where so many are so passionate about the wonders it contains. Let's pray the international community stops this and other similar abberations from going forward. If they don't, it's going to be a suicidally dismal world for future generations.
Thanks for the article, Kara and Rhett.

This is how you say AVATAR in chinese.... Man, if there's anything I have learned from the goverment and native people is that the goverment wants to TERMINATE these people so bad. Heck, they even send out there own Terminatiors to eliminate the rest of these people. And we as the people just sit here and watch. Man, SKYNET dosen't really sound like a bad idea right now.
