The climate change taking 'Plant Biomass Intensity'(PBI) as an index can be measured in terms of oxygen content of the Earth i.e., decrease in the content of oxygen due to reduction in PBI. Therefore ancient systems of farming being essentially organic in nature might not cause significant changes in climate unlike the current industrial/chemicalized agriculture which destroys the delicate balance of life endangering the soil-water-plant-animal-human quality on Earth.
