I think that these new discoveries of species thought to have been extinct are fascinating! Not too big on the spiders though...
Some species die and some are born...thats what we call LIFE...the jungle is full of life
Why are we so surprised?
Wow this is exciting! I'm so happy they found these little guys, hopefully the hunters will leave them alone.
wow. Can't believe they found those species!its so cool! My favorite one was the tiny wolf snake smaller than the persons hand! Its so cute.I wish i could discover new species too,but i cant with out becoming a microbioligist.or something like that.
these are awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I love these.
amazing. i think there are going to be new research. maybe the animals can cure diesases.
Hard to even appreciate these discoveries may have been all around us when we were over there. I guess I should be glad that I did not run into some of them, especially that Dragon Mellepede...curious, how did you find out it is toxic...did someone pick it up? I would have remember seeing something like that over there....the "humongous" rats and the vipers is what I recall the most...oh! and the leeches!
It's amazing there's still more to discover! I guess there's always something new. It must have been exciting for the people who found the new species!
The pictures are beautiful! Thank you for putting this up!
Hello Namrats, you are very right. In this world, some species die and some new ones are born. You can throroughly plough a piece of land and clear all vegetation but you will be surprised when completely new types of vegetation emerge in the same piece of land. You won't even know where the seeds of the new species came from. This is the same case with these discoveries. When God Almighty was creating the universe, he used to say "Let the...Earth produce..." meaning that the Earth has capacity to produce new species or recreate extinct species.
Awesome pictures, especially the Kerivoula titania woolly bat he or she doesn't look to happy. hahaha
