I live here on the northeastern coast of Brazil. In the capital city of Salvador the last remnants of original Atlantic rain forest is currently being destroyed to build high rise constructions. Sadly these new laws look great on paper but rarely make much diference on a day to day basis.

Hi Irene,

I'd love to contact someone who lives in that region as I want to find out more about visiting the rainforest when visiting Salvador. Could you please email me?

Best wishes
