Ok, carbon tax is a short term solution. Instead, they should invest more in researching new polution free technologies than investing in wafrare technologies. And in this case, the other countries should help because they are ressponsible for the polution also. I know that it is an huge task to change all poluting technologies with new ones, but we have to start somewhere.
I think that there are just a few people that can define climate. Before doing something about global warming we should learn more about what climate really is. There is an interesting thesis on the matter on www.whatisclimate.com . You should have a look.
