But what happens to the carbon afterwards? It has to be stored somewhere or destroyed in some manner. Wouldn't that release the carbon and undo the effect? Is there a way to reuse the carbon loaded crystals without releasing their stored carbon?

Hi,can this be mass produced,example fitted to cars ect?
Have you looked at designs?

Dont know if this has already been done,but have been toying with the idea for a while.
